Mindfulness
Present-moment awareness practices to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and build emotional resilience in everyday life.
What Is Mindfulness?
Living in the Present
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and without judgement. Rooted in Buddhist meditation traditions and now widely adopted in clinical settings, mindfulness-based approaches have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Unlike meditation (which is often a formal, seated practice), mindfulness can be woven into every aspect of daily life - eating, walking, working, and relating to others. It’s about learning to respond rather than react.
What to Expect in a Session
Sessions may include guided mindfulness exercises, body awareness techniques, breathing practices, and discussion about how to integrate mindfulness into your daily routine.
One-to-one sessions typically last 60 minutes. Group courses (such as MBSR - Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) run over 8 weeks. No prior experience is needed.
